The Clermont-Ferrand CROUS offers accommodation for SIGMA Clermont students (1- and 2-room apartments), whether they are engineering students or students on the Fédération Gay-Lussac chemistry preparatory program.
Please note: this accommodation is reserved for first-time entrants. For students who do not receive a grant, the CROUS only allocates accommodation for the first year.

GOOD TO KNOW
Many SIGMA Clermont students share accommodation in Aubière, close to the school, or in other areas of Clermont-Ferrand. If you have difficulty finding accommodation, they can offer a temporary solution for new arrivals.
Students who have difficulty finding a guarantor can benefit from the Visale scheme. This guarantee, offered by Action Logement, gives the landlord the assurance of being paid for 36 monthly instalments.

In order to provide more comprehensive support for students, it is possible to combine and accumulate assistance from different bodies such as CROUS and Action Logement. These various forms of assistance cover a wide range of expenses, such as food and transport. Don't hesitate to contact CROUS Clermont Auvergne to find out what assistance you are eligible for.
In 2023, Action Logement created an energy fund to help those tenants most affected by increases in energy prices. This scheme applies to tenants whose service charges have increased by more than €100 per month or who have had an adjustment of more than €1,000 over the past 12 months, and who have less than €15 per person per day to live on. In order to provide financial support to students who need it, Action Logement offers a range of grants that can be combined with CROUS grants and CAF grants, available directly from the Action Logement platform. You can find the catalogue of grants on the official Action Logement website, which includes grants for starting out in working life, buying tyres for your car to get to your work placement or paying the deposit for accommodation near your place of study or work placement.
